I am a retired person, and have a Roland D70 keyboard and several components making up my music system. I play by ear, and am looking for equipment that will (A) play a CD, (B) have the ability to transpose the music being played to match the keys that I customarily play in on the keyboard. Plus and minus 16% won't cover the entire octave or all of the 12 keys that may used in a given CD.
One method to achieve such a wide percentage of change might be to record the musical selection to a hard drive, then to replay from the hard drive at the selected key. Once set at a key that matches my keyboard (E flat) I will loop off section by section, and play along with that music -- until I am confident that I know it.
If your company manufactures or sells such equipment, please send me an email with a full description, local dealers in Phoenix, and costs. Thanks!
