Pro tools is just a good software, like logic, motu, tascam, express, etc...but and now??
I need learn computers to make music? I need learn how to assemble a computer to make music? I need to know WINDOWS CONFIGURATIOS, DRIVERS, DLL FILE, ALL THIS STUFF?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Joke, pure jpke...But im a composer, i play bass, keyboards and sing...
First, how to record my music??? Good question...Back 30 years ago...Pnly one way...musiuc recorded by tap[e machine !! Easy and cool huh ??
Today we have studios with tape machines analogic system, but, very very expensive, $$$$$$$ money to do this recording sessions in a studer 2 inches machine??? No way, forget it !
Second option....Buy a portable digital recorder....
I have one, 8 tracks, good sound, but...always need more clarity and powerful on mixsdown...you need a good pre amplifier, tbe amplifier to conect ypours mics, and instruments...
Another problem is the price of a good one tube-pre-amplifier...
But, tge third option

Ok, we need buy a computer with compatibility with the hardware>>? Or we need a hardware compatibility with software...
When i read tecnical pages of compatibility computer systems to operation with the company software, i frustrating myself...

Ok, streight to the point....Back in the recording sessions....GOOD FOR MUSICIANS MAKE THIS OWN RECORDING SESSIONS IN OUR HOUSES, GET IT ????MAKE THE BACK UP CD WITH THE SESSIONS AND GO TO A PRO STUDIO TO MIX IN A DECFENT SSL AUDIO MIXBOARD OR NEVE CONSOLE GET IT MOTU, DIGIMAUDIO , CAKEWALK>>????? SIMPLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Computer will be a necessary thing for us musicians recording our music in our homes and go to mix in a pro studio!
But have the guys which copy and paste samples, ok , electronic music, good too....
I dont have nothing against this people getting things pre-recordeds, copying, expanding and pasting music pieces..BUT, the real music come from your heart, you and your instrument...RECORDING THINGS IS ANOTHER QUWSTION...
i hope this audio softwares down the price, to majority of ppl can buy and try to learn how recording their musics...huh ?
Ok Ok, im a litle bit philosopher today, but the real qustion is WHEN AVID, MOTU AND DAMN HELL COMPANIES WILL SPEAK SAME LANGUAGE WITH THE DAMNED WINDOWS AND MACINTOSH >?>? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If this companies can together trade knowledgement to build compreensive and easy tools to the musicians will be very good thing in the world...
If you dont have money follow this steps to record your music...
Take a litle room in your house...( you need a studio, or an quiet room to make your music, huh >? )
No money to spend in sonic solutions for your studio, no no...al this forums about how to do control rooms is bullshit
