hi again in a few minutes i discovered that the same project files when opened having my LaCie 1TB Big Disk Extreme ext. HD as source Protools is playing with no errors at all !!!! what is Happenin'???? but it still doesn't play with macbook as my source....!!!!

People plz DAE Errors are horrible!!! I swear... I just got myself the new 003 Factory with Protools 8, after installation i opened the demo project and it worked perfect the next day i create my own project and everything works fine except my audio tracks if at all i have any audio tracks active in my session i get a DAE Error -9060 encountered!!!!

Please help me I seriously am trying to get out of it... I've not purchased it for facing such a difficulty...!!!!

PLEEEEEAAAAAAASSSEEEEE HELP!!!!!

I'm running ona MAC BOOK PRO 2.5 with OSX 10.5.6 !!!!
n m just STRUGGLING to get out of this !!!

Sorry to bother, I downloaded a free sample of ProTools for my mac and
each time i begin the progam it says, "Mac version of protools free does
not support digidesign hardware. Use "built-in" for input and output in
the sound control panel."
Is the sound control panel located in system preferences of my power book.
And if so, i still can't hear the beats once i click on "built-in" for
sound input and output.
I want to sample the beats real bad before i buy this program can you help?

Check out Jeremy's posting! I have Windows XP and changed the compatability to Windows 98 me, but it still doesn't work!

If you use a mixer the RIAA correction (pre-amp) takes place there. Your mixer probably will have a line-out voltage. That means, you must not use the mic input of your iMac, but the line-input. (which type iMac do you have? My iMac has no mic-in or line-in, so I bought the iMic from Griffin, which I connect with my iMac thruogh USB).
I have no experience with ProTools. Maybe you can consider to use Autacity. Also free. (see http://audacity.sourceforge.net/about.php?lang=en).
