| Using Composer, the professional or amateur can compose quality music that is useful for practicng or performing to as an accompaniment. Songs made in Composer are made of three parts : the melody, the harmony, and the rythm parts to which you apply a Style. Melody : - added/edited in real time graphically ( piano roll like)
- import from midi file
- record on the fly
Harmony : A set of chords and loop points Rythm : A set of drums licks Loop points : A song is generally made of an introduction , a body and an ending . The locators lets you set the start and end loop points ANYWHERE : Your intros and endings may last as long as you wish ...The loop maybe infinite : for people practicing soloing or scales. Styles : Composer comes with more than 40 different styles from Jazz swing to Techno . Styles are easily created and edited using Quartz Audio Master : any sequence can be turned into a style . You can also look in the download section for styles dropped by internauts , or go to the uplink section to share yours. Input songs : The main difference with other arrangement software is the complete freedom in setting the start time and duration of any chord . Of course , to remain easy to use , a chord will default to a mesure start and last for the entire mesure. But you can split a mesure down to 32ndth notes ! giving you the ability to enter any song even the most complicated ones. Misc: - setting instruments , MIDI channels , volume pan ...
- export seq , midi
Visualisation : the color code lets you visually see the elements ( degrees ) composing of a chord. |
