QuickTime 5 for Windows 98

I click on movie trailers at Apple's
QuickTime site and the audio/video
starts for a few seconds, then stops.
I move the pointer back to the beginning
and click again and QuikTime advances
a little further than last time and then
stops again. When the start/stop process
finally ends at the end of the movie
trailer, I move the pointer back to the
beginning,& the whole trailer plays back
with no interruptions! What's going on?
