: Its not a case of Raduga needing an equalizer - its either (a) the audio files you are playing back are badly recorded in the first place (to tinny or too bassy, or (b) check your soundcard settings or devices after your soundcard (amp, etc).

Correct, well kind of - everything is flat until it get to the 'processor' where it is equalised and compressed/limited/clipped in a multiband fashion. Often badly to be the 'loudest (worst sounding) on the band!
