For those sweeping, hypnotic basslines you simply must have the sound of a 303 in your arsenal of sonic weapons. Easier said than done, though. It's been out of production for well over a decade. Those still in existence are collector's items. They'll cost you an arm and a leg. Which, of course, has opened a market for products recreating those classic sounds. But so far, the magic of the real thing has been lacking somehow.

can I rec. rebirth direct to hard disk?

i want to record the audio from rebirth direct to hard disk. i've tried to do this using cool edit 96 but it won't let me stating that
the 'driver is already in use'. Can this be done?

Yes you can: but you have to use the Song function (you need to switch from Pattern mode (assuming that's where you're at) to Song, and export Pattern to Song if needed)...

If you set 'Loop' to the entire length of the song, then there's an option in RB v2.0 on a drop down menu (File?) thats Export Loop to WAV File....does it nicely as well, all the delay and everything....

i do this using a program called Total Recorder
and then you can edit the file in sound forge

I spent 20 minutes downloading this demo, went to unzip it, and nothing. It became an unrecognized file not an .exe file. it won't do anything. What am I not doing? ANY CLUES?? I'm dying to try this thing out before springing 2 bills for it!
