I had the same problem until I downloaded dbpoweramp by Sveta. I had heard bad reviews about this program and didn't expect it to work. First of all I downloaded the pmp300 specific driver (it's about 250kb) and ran it. Next I downloaded the main program (about 2.2mb) and ran the install program.The program allows you to add devices thro' a simple procedure and it even found the driver that I had installed! Once plugged in it becomes a simple drag and drop process to put music on the player.Remember to tell Windows Media Player to rip music to MP3 format as the pmp300 can't play wav's or wmv's!!
