This occurs when playing back what I've just recorded into Samp 7. I record to a Delta 66, and have d/l the latest drivers from the M-Audio site. I run WinXP Pro on an Athlon system.
Researching the problem a bit, it seems this is an obscure windows (?) error that has to do with choosing an incomaptible bitrate or sample rate. Whether I choose 16/44100 or 24/48000, it returns the same error. Of course, the Delta 66 certainly supports what I'm trying to do with it. I can record into Sonar and Cubase just fine.
Any help? Thanks very much on advance. I love the capabilities of this new program but if I can't use it, I'll have to go back to Cubase.
