Scream Tracker hasn't been modified since the mid
1990's, and it still runs on DOS. Nowadays, many
computers come with sound cards that don't stand a
chance of being compatible with Scream Tracker, and
future versions of DOS may break Scream Tracker.
Nobody would be losing any money by releasing Scream
Tracker, and if it isn't written all in assembly
language, it could even be ported to Linux (which has
no good tracker to date) or updated to be able to edit and play IT songs (in which case I could dump DOS forever).
