rundll32.exe is not a valid win 32 application

when i click on the clock on the right conner of the bottom of the screen or when i click on any one in control panal i get this message and nothing open only this message : " rundll32.exe is not a valid win 32 application" may u explain to me why this happened and how to fix it plz, i have winXP
