hi,
i try to move my hd-recording to linux and downloaded
SLab. looks great. however, i have a Monterey
(TurtleBeach) Soundcard with which i can listen to
soundfile using sox (play). as i read in the kernel
doc the monterey-driver doesnt support /dev/audio. it
just supports /dev/dsp (at full duplex) but i was not
able to record or play with SLab. the errors i get are:
if i use /dev/audio 'Failed to open "/dev/audio"'
if i use /dev/dsp 'Failed to set Sample-Resolution...'
or something similar. does someone have any suggestion.
