Software Description

Sonix v2 is now a quasi-synchronous dual granulator which accepts mono and stereo audio signals.

Each granulator of the Sonix plug-in allows for independent control of grain rate, pitch, grain size, level, gliss, phase and envelope. Users can selectively send midi to right in, left in or stereo and the dual granulators have level controls. The Sonix v2.0 also accepts midi and is compatible with a midi keyboards.

Sonix v2 can also do full automation of controls via "midi learn", and users can globally set the grain rate of the two granulators to sync with the host.

SONIX W/ECHO GINA

CAN I USE THIS SOFTWARE WITH A MAC G3 W/GINA ECHO CARD FOR MINIMAL DIGITAL FILE MANAGEMENT--THAT IS, BRINGING IN TRACKS FROM A LOW-END TASCAM DAT DECK AND STORING THEM IN A FORMAT WHICH WILL PERMIT ME TO THEN BURN THE TRACKS ONTO A CD THAT ARE THE DIGITAL EQUIVALENT OF WHAT CAME OFF THE DAT?

I THINK THIS REQUIRES THAT SONIX USE A ASIO DRIVER. AM I CORRECT?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
