I have a problem with windows 98 second edition not realising my Sb pro card.
I haven't got the instructions or drivers. It would be of much help if anyone could send me info or drivers on this card

I am having the same exact problem. I can not figure it out. I can play wave files and some other audio but no midi or real audio over the internet. I have the Sound Blaster Pro 2 CT1600 8-bit audio. I have searched high and low both on www.creativehelp.com and the microsoft windows 95 site. I want to see if the latest drivers are installed but creative does not post them on their site. I believe it is using the Windows 3.1 drivers. Not sure. Have you found a fix for this. I am getting ready to buy a new sound card if I can not get a fix.

microphone with sound blaster pro

I can't get my microphone to work. I'm trying to use it to talk to a friend on the internet. I have turned up the volume. Went under the control panel, multimedia and tried to turn up the volume on the recording but it is colored and won't move and it is turned all the way down. Do i need to make an adjustment on the sound card itself.Please help.

I also had alot of trouble finding the basic
installation for the SBPRO.
You can find all you need to the SBPRO working in dos
at this location:-

download the file sb_pro.zip
