Software Description

TablEdit is a program for creating, editing, printing and listening to tablature and sheet music (standard notation) for guitar and other fretted, stringed instruments (now supporting instruments up to 12 strings). Additionally, TablEdit supports tablature and standard notation for harmonica, mountain dulcimer, diatonic accordion, drums, violin, and banjo (even taking into consideration the special aspect of the fifth string).
TablEdit can open/import ASCII, MIDI, ABC, Bucket O' Tab, Tabestry and Wayne Cripps files, as well as files created by earlier versions of

TablEdit. Files can be saved in TablEdit format or exported to ASCII, ABC or MIDI formats.

Support for English, Deutsch, Français, Español and Svenska.

We've worked out a whole bunch of violin and mandolin parts to levellers songs. Unfortuanately we've not written any down, and I don't knwo of any easy way of getting them onto the computer. Any ideas?

You need to search for the Queen of the Damned (The Score Album). The particular solo that you are refering to occurrs in the song titled, "Secret Passage"

i watched and listend to chapter 8 about 10 times before i gave up but the semi fast part thats going on while they are talking is.... in the key of d... all 1/16th notes unles otherwise stated...

Sapporo tablature

I have this great Sam Bush tune worked out for the most part and even transfered all the notes to the 5-string banjo. Is there a tablature version for either mandolin or banjo out there somewhere? I learned it off the "Newgrass Revival Live" album and it's a long @#$^$$@%^#! I got the melody lines pretty good and was just wondering.

Yeah, I think it is on Banjo Picking Styles by Bela Fleck, the six tape course with book. I think the tab for banjo is in there.
