transcribing device

hello,
i see all kinds of stuff all over the internet for transcribing music to digital text, but what can i do about transcring regulard audio from my digital tape recorder to my word program? i'm a reporter for a small weekly paper and i always take my notes on my hand-dandy recorder. if there's any help you could send my way i would be so excited. thanks. have a good one.
