Twizla creates displays with dynamic colours and visual effects with accompanying sound. The displays and sound are intended for entertainment. However, the effects are achieved using flickering at frequencies associated with brain activity (beta, alpha, theta and delta rhythms) and the program may be used to experiment with brainwave "entrainment". The accompanying sounds are from MIDI files, Ogg Vorbis files, or from internally generated binaural beats.
