Basic audio CD playback functions: play/pause, fast forward, reverse, next track, previous track, skip to track number, stop, and eject. Several time display modes: track time elapsed, track time remaining, disc time elapsed, and disc time remaining. Ugly CD Player includes access to CD and track titles. These track titles are stored in the same format as those used by Apple's CD player, so you can still use the ones you may have entered with that "other" CD player.

In this version:

• improves handling of multisession audio CDs (multisession audio CDs will only play properly on MacOS 9)
• addressed bugs with some versions of MacOS 8.6 and MacOS 9 where pausing and stopping did not work correctly
