Perhaps the easist way to do this is with Roxio's Spin Doctor, which comes along with Roxio Toast. Use Spin Doctor to record, and to split recording into tracks; then use Toast to burn CD. I like to keep the CD with the original LP album, so that I have all the liner notes, but only need to play the CD. It takes time to do this, but for favorite or rare LPs, it is worth it. The other LPs can be sold on eBay or given to the nice garbage man.
