Good chance its an MPEG-2 format which isn't supported by v-dub.

: Same problem here. I'm trying to hard code some subs to an mpeg file but I cant open it "pack synchronization error"

: Tried remuxing with Xmuxer but still have same error message in virtual dub. Anyone got any ideas?
