Virtual Singer is an additional module for Melody Assistant or Harmony Assistant.
Virtual Singer will make your computer sing : it will generate human voice to process staves with lyrics. Once installed, Virtual Singer is completly integrated to Melody/Harmony. It is displayed as a new palette.
Virtual Singer can be configured according to your needs, by modifying timbre, intonation, kind of voice (man, woman, tenor, soprano, etc.). Above this, several different voices, in different languages, will be able to sing at the same time. Samples tunes and a complete manual (included in the Melody or Harmony Assistant documentation) are provided.

I have been a registered user of Virtual Singer, ever since it was introduced. Virtual Singer is not a stand-alone program, but an add-on to either Melody Assistant or Harmony Assistant, by the same software supplier.
If your song has lyrics, Virtual Singer can "sing" them in various languages. You can adjust the pronunciation. It's not as clear as the spoken-word software for reading text, but it is intelligible, and a number of effects can be applied.
Virtual Singer is a lot of fun to use. It is also a good way to create custom rehearsal tracks.
It requires effort to learn how to use either Melody Assistant or Harmony Assistant, and to customize Virtual Singer. Be sure to read instructions.
