Software Description

Complete Description: "WaveWarp is not just an effects processor, it's an entire processor-construction kit... WaveWarp may be the last effects software you ever buy."
Electronic Musician Editors' Choice Award, January 2001.

WaveWarp is the ultimate modular audio effects processing software for Windows. The heart of WaveWarp is the DrawingBoard. Simply drag the desired building blocks from the component library, drop them on to the DrawingBoard, and hook them up with virtual cables. With a few mouse-clicks, you can build effects of arbitrary complexity by connecting together basic modules selected from an extensive library containing over 250 components. You can create your own digital delays, reverbs, flangers, choruses, filters, equalizers, noise cancellers, expanders, limiters, compressors, noise gates, modulators, spectral tranformers, signal generators etc, plus an unlimited range of customised algorithms. Components can be arranged in arbitrarily complex networks consisting of series, parallel, feedforward, and feedback connections. The result is an astonishing range of possibilities. All components are executed sample-by-sample in real-time on a Pentium class PC with any Windows-compatible soundcard (Windows 95, 98, NT4, or 2000 required). WaveWarp has full multi-channel I/O capability, and supports simultaneous use of multiple soundcards. The audio engine has full multirate functionality, allowing integer-factor sample rate conversions between components. For signal visualisation, WaveWarp includes digital displays, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.

WaveWarp can be used either as a DirectX plugin or as a standalone tool for manipulating live audio inputs and WAV files (i.e. it does not require any other software). WaveWarp supports 8-, 16-, 20-, 24-, and 32-bit WAV files of any sample rate, and live inputs of any format supported by the soundcard Windows Wave driver(s). For optimum audio quality, all internal calculations are performed in 32-bit floating point precision.

For added flexibility, WaveWarp is also available in an extended edition incorporating seamless real-time interaction with the MATLAB technical computing environment.

Noise gates

I have to do a project about noise gates in Matlab and i would like to know i f you could give me any information about that or where could i find some good information about that. It is to remove the noise from a speech signal using noise gates. I hope ill hear from you soon. Thank you very much.

Wave Warp download issues

Tried three days in a row to download the demo...no joy.

Also, i wonder why soundslogical.com asked my download utility to act as a server, and what they were doing attempting to penetrate my firewall while the part of the download i got was
downloading.

209.15.165.204 wavewarp.com Port 20
to my port 1536

Rarely do i see this sort of thing when downloading.

That's called attempted hacking and it's not cool at all guys!

I'll pass on this one.

Lady Amelia

simply AWESOME!

I just purchased this software, and can say that what their web site states about never needing another audio plug in is most likely true.

I've been using WaveWarp for a couple of hours now, and am completely stunned at both its seemingly limitless versatility and quality.

It's worth the price just as a standalone app, but the fact that it works perfectly as a DX plugin as well (at least inside Orion Pro), makes it a MUST HAVE!

back to the lab!

BUY A LEAGAL DECODER.............................................................................................

Great Program Guys!!

I saw a demonstration of WaveWarp at NAMM in January and I was very
impressed. It makes the process of constructing effects very simple
and best of all it was just running on a normal PC.

Great Program Guys!!
