: : : This is the same thing I want to know. I have looked all over the web - nothing so far. I want to convert .viv back to .avi (as I think they were originally .avi to start with ??) or even into a format that Windows Media Player can handle. There must be some way of decompressing ??

I too am on this hunt for the holy grail, I got a player, but I want something a little more flexible so I can work with them.
