: The UK distributors have just found a cause of many crashes. When a stave or a line of music is deleted at the end of a stave, the stave or line of music seems to disappear. In fact, tapping the down arrow will show that space for this line of music is still held in capella. These "hidden staves" will cause crashes. They are removed by pressing CONTROL+DELETE when the cursor is flashing below the end of the score. It should not be possible for the down arrow to send the cursor beyond the last line of music in the score.
