You know, I don't know of anyone who's putting Finale files out there. I
think the copyright issues are the problem. I mean, if I had a collection of
Fernando Sor pieces that I've input and edited in Finale, I wouldn't give
the disk to anyone because they could just open the file, print it, and try
to sell it. I wouldn't want people making money off all my hard work. I
think that's probably where most people stand on this.

Do you have that smart score thing ? I understand you can scan scores in and
then edit them at will. I understand the technology is getting better, but
you still have to do a lot of editing.

So you say collection - do you specifically mean Finale files? You can get
sheet music virtually anywhere, including the virtual world. There are
online sheet music sellers. But if you want Finale files specifically, I
think it's going to be a difficult search for you.

Maybe if you tell us more exactly what you're trying to do, we can offer
more suggestions.
