Software Description

This version of mp123 is able to play Layer I, II and III MPEG-1.0 MPEG-2.0 and IIS MPEG-2.5 audio streams and supports wildcards as file-argument and http-url's if you want to stream audio to the player from the web.

Can anyone tell me where to get a converter to convert a video file with an extention .vid to another format: avi, mpg etc. The original file contains both video and audio streams. I tryed just to rename vid extention to avi and then use avi2vcd
coverter. I have got a valid mpg video file without audio. Decompress utility decompress.exe doesn't work
with this file.

I am looking for some advice, on how to convert most video formats to mpeg for vcd, could anyone help. Some films i have downloaded, media player can't play them and i also can't burn them for vcd.

How do i determin which format they are, and then burn them for vcd.

Thanks for your time, i'm new to burning films.

Convert MP3's to wav files. Open wav files in the windows sound recorder. go to properties and convert (all formats) to MPEG. It is MPEG Layer 3, but it shrinks it down to less than 2 MB. Good Luck.
