Problems running in Classic environment?

I can't boot up in OS 9, so I'm running this in the Classic environment on OSX 10.4.

The issue is that it won't playback the audio file correctly. It speeds up the file and the sound is glitchy. Not a smooth playback at all. Kind of defeats the purpose; you can master a track if you can't hear it correctly.

Any help?
