You (we) need a software to convert WAV files to CDA, wich is the standard for regular CD Players.

I'm trying to find it. I'll let you know right away.

While copying audio CD's, there's always about 2 seconds of blank space between each track. This is a serious problem while copying live CD's or CD's where the tracks are attached to each other. Is there a program that allows me to copy audio CD's without leaving these 2 seconds of blank space between each track? I use an HP 8100 CD-writer.

Ls,

With for instance Adaptec's Easy CD pro you can write audio-CD's using in different modes. The first mode writes the CD track after track, leaving a 2 second pauze between every track. The second is "disc at once"; in this mode there are no pauzes between tracks.

Some profi programm's like Steinberg's Wavelab (+/-$500) or Sonic Foundry's CD-Architect (+/-$300) enable you to set the pauze between tracks yourself.

I don't have rebirth but will check out the price and possibly buy it. I have over 100 CD's now. I would love to get Cubase!

Yes, probably adaptec already has a patch for
his 'easy cd creator', but you still got to find
80-min CdR's to get it to work, you can't write
80 minutes at a 74min CDR...

I have recorded my old tapes to wav.

But they are a little to slow. Perhaps 94% of normal
speed.
What program (wav) have a speed function so I can play
- and record the wav som it sound 100%

Buy software that has the "disc at once" option for audio CD's (Adaptec Easy CD pro); using this mode there is no pauze between tracks!

Profi software will enable you to set the pauze between every track:
-Steinberg Wavelab
-Sonic Foundry CD-architect

I'm wanting to upload music to my home page & need to keep the file size down. What programs can convert the music from CD's (which are CDA file format) to wave or other file formats of lesser size? Hi Greg,

First up, you're gonna need TWO pieces of software - something to rip' the audio from the CD to your HD, and another to convert the HD file into a small (as poss.) file to upload (MP3).

Adaptec EasyCD is generally considered the best CD copier / writter.

Even easier than that, get Music Match Juke Box, which can 'Rip n' write' in one excellent package.

Regards to posting the MP3's on your site - unless you own the copywrite on the trax, you're opening yourself to MAJOR LEGAL SHIT! You have been warned....

U mean, you have a big wav file with lots of tracks mixed together, as in the disco, and want it with marks to appear in the cd display as TRACK 1,TRACK 2, and so on?

You can get one called ashampoo audio cd mp3 studio from www.ashampoo.com, you have to register it to get rid of the ringing boise on all your cds. registration is free though.

I have found a converter for MP3 to CDA without leaving a bunch of wav files on your hard drive.
This program works... I have used it but you have to register it in order to make a full 15 song CD.
I think it cost somewhere around $30 U.S. to register.

You can find it at www.tucows.com just follow the links to the Audio/MP3 section and download the program called "MP3 CD Maker"
