Try looking at Replay Inc. they have something called Decomposer that does that. I was unimpressed with the sound quality of it but it does work.

There was a way to do this via SCSI at one point but I believe the facility was removed from the VS's operating system in later releases. I read some stuff about it on the Roland website at one point. Have a check in the OS update section.

: I own an Akai MPC3000 sampler and I need a program to convert wav samples to the snd format of the MPC.I own Cool Edit Pro 1.2 and sound forge 4.5 however the sampler gives me an error reading the snd files.It makes mention that the extention is not the same as the content.I am of the opinion that I am doing something wrong.I need some help quickly.

Stick to Media Player 6.x I like it better persnally.
