Re: TRADE SOUNDFORGE,ACID PRO OR CUBASE VST FOR PC DRUMMER FULL

Unfortunately I cannot trade anything. I don't have any of the programs, but I would be really thankful if you could send me cubase or tell me ehere to download it. I've been trying to find it everywhere.
I met one of Norway's greatest rappers some days ago, and he said they used cubase to make beats. So I really want it. So at least answer me if you have the cubase you can make hiphop beats with.

Looking for Voice recording software

I am looking for a PC based program that will allow me to sing any given notes and it will convert it to music, which then can be use to be played on various instruments. I enjoy writing songs and music although I am neither computer literate nor artistic enough to play an instuments. Is there a program than can ssist me in this.

Re: Looking for Voice recording software

Hi

Try <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Sound2MIDI/">Sound2Midi 1.5</a>.

Sound2Midi intercepts audio signals received from the microphone and determines Pitch, Dynamics and Timing, sending each note as MIDI data straight to your Sequencer.

Cheers

Buying advice PLEASE!

I am ready to purchase a laptop system (desktop
replacement) with special interest applications in mind. In addition to
basic functions, my interests are in computer music recording using the new
Tascam US 428 controller, digital video and still photo work using my Sony
PCM-100 camera, and using imaging software.
Do any laptop units have 7200 rpm hard drives? Can a 5200 rpm unit do? What options and/or packages do
you recomend? Thanx

Well..

Well, I would reconsider going to a laptop for this type of application unless it is necessary. Laptops are often not as good as handling massive amounts of data quickly. But, if you must, seek out an external SCSI hard drive so you don't get bogged down.

covert mp3 to cda

please if u have mp3 to cda format converter please inform me

Wanna Know How To Put A CDA File on a cd? Click Here To Find Out

When you record a WAV file on to an AUDIO CD, it will automatically compress and burn it in CDA format. (I've only tried it with "Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum", but it should work with any other program, as a normal CD player cannot read WAV format, and the alternative format for it is the compressed CDA format.

Re: Wanna Know How To Put A CDA File on a cd? Click Here To Find

Thank you very much!

Re: covert mp3 to cda

: please if u have a freeware mp3 to cda format converter please inform me

Re: covert mp3 to cda

All you need is a CD Writer (the CD burning hardware) installed on your
computer, and there are many CD burning software packages to choose from
on Shareware Music Machine.

<a href="/smm/news/493/">Read this article</a> for MP3 to CD burning software,

Sound card advice

I hope someone can give me some sound advice.
I´m in the market for a soundcard.
I´ve been looking at serveral, the Wami Rack, Terratek, Emagic Audiowerk 8, Echo Gina card.
All seem interesting but I really don´t know which will be best to run with Cubase VST.
If anyone has any of these cards or knows whether they are good or bad etc. please drop me
a line informing me of there experiences and or knowlegde.
Appreciate it. David

sound advice:)

I'm no expert Dave but you should check the Stienberg web site for information regarding soundcards and advice on possible conflicts. Cubase comes with drivers for different cards I think so it may be sensible to get one which they activly support.

Mic audio to MIDI

I'm looking for a fast program to directly record audio from a microphone to midi format. Any suggestions?

Give Intelliscore a try

Intelliscore will let you record polyphonic music from a microphone or CD, then convert it to a MIDI file containing the notes played, chord names, and key. You can then edit, play back, or notate the MIDI file through any sequencer.

You will probably want to clean up the MIDI files that Intelliscore generates, but it saves you the trouble of creating MIDI files from scratch. It's really useful as a transcription aid.

A trial version can be downloaded for free from http://www.intelliscore.net

It's not really possible...

What are you putting into the microphone. Anything other than a basic few notes will end up in a confused midi file. It's too much to ask of a program and computer to be able to work out what not a whole bunch of sounds is making at one time, it's nigh on impossible.

For some reason, some people have actually written software to attempt this but it's generally very disappointing. Emagics Logic suprisingly put the facility in their Logic audio software, maybe just to be fashionable rather than practicle. Have a poot around the file area on this board under Format Convertors I think, try it and be disappointed.

maybe i have the answer...

there's a program called something like 'audio to midi' somewhere on this site.

it's not great, but it's freeware, so it's worth checking out.

Re: I want the best .wav to midi converter for trail

Hey manirangan

Try <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/WaveGoodbye/">Wave Goodbye</a> and <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/WAVmaker_for_Windows/">WAVmaker III</a>. Plus there's <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/WIDI/">WIDI</a>. But don't expect great results. This kind of software still has a long way to go.

Question, old as the hills...

If you want to convert a single very slow and basically play instrument from a wave file into a midi file then some programs will just about manage it. If the wave is more than one instrument then forget it, honestly. This site has some in the file area... go take a look and be disappointed with everyone else.

Looking for software to produce own sheet music

I have some original musical compositions and want to be able to obtain software to be able to publish my own sheet music. That is, software that enables one to create a staff and place the musical notes, rests, etc on it. I am quite sure that it exists, but have forgotten what it is called. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Looking for software to produce own sheet music

There is a CD-ROM caleed "Music Time" by PASSPORT. It allows anyone to make his/her own Sheet Music. You can buy it at a computer store or something.

Re: Looking for software to produce own sheet music

Try this one its a beaut' "New Noteworthy"put that into a search engine. It simply does everything that you stipulated.
Good luck Cole.S

there are many

Although most Multitrack sequencers have the ability to deal with inputting notes onto a score, it sounds like you may want a more dedicate program. Sibelius is considered along with Finale as excellent professional computer scorers but will cost you a few quid. Sebelius is available in demo form on the below link so go a try it for yourself. Check out some of the other programs too as you will find some other gems of shareware and sometimes freeware.
