i got Easy CD Creator, but it doesn't work. i think it isn't compatible with my CD-R. what do i do? is there any other software lice Easy CD Creator that i could use? and how will i know if it is compatible?

another question: when i'm am copying my mp3 to audio cd, the process takes almost an hour. is that normal?

When you say it doesn't work, what exactly do you mean? (Check out roxio to see if there are any known problems with your CD-RW).

If thay fails, Nero is a good alternative.

As for the time taken to write a CD, that depends on the write speed. At 1x, then a full CD will take 74 minutes to write. At 4x, it takes one quarter of that time and so on.

Fast Transfer of Huge Data Need Help!!!!

Hi,
I want to move a huge amount of data (e.g 25 mb to 50 mb) from one server to another server.
And i don't have telnet access.
Moreover i don't want to stay connected all the time.
Does anybody know a tool that can be useful to me ??
Any help in this regard would be sincerly appreciated..

You'll have to find it yourself but there is a program out there that logs onto both servers and allows you to move files between the servers. No telnet needed. But I can't remember the name of the software.

I happened to come across a site

this site may not be perfect but it does serve the purpose of transfer of data from one server to another. And it is unbelieveably fast.
The main problem with the site is that it does not allow you to access yourlocal Hard Disk.

An audio editor like <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/GoldWave/">Goldwave</a> is what you need.

Let me see the .cda directly as .wav on CD

I need a special DLL that lets me see the cda tracks on audio CD´s directly as wav files, so I don´t have to rip them to the HD to encode them.I know that such a DLL exists I had it once but lost it.

Home recording studio

I have an older IMac. I am running mac OS 9.1
and I have itunes. I have fire wire authoring but only have USB ports. I want to build the best quality home recording studio and don't know where to start. I have quick time and quickpro but I don't know how to open quicktime instruments or if that is instruments I can use to create songs. I guess I would like to start there. I want to write music on my IMac. what do I do for instruments? How do I get them to work? Where can I get more instrument and instrument sounds? HELP!!!!!????!!!!!!!!!

Hey bro. This is what you want: loops. What I recommend also is get a regular keyboard, nothing fancy if u are under a budget, and with that you can create your own samples etc. Fruity loops can get you off your feet.

After using Percussion Studio for quite a while now, I know that there has to be something better out there that has the same features.

Do you know of any great software that lets you create beats, export wavs for custom sounds, and is easy to use? It doesn't have to be freeware/shareware...any good program I can use.

Burning Mpeg-1 files

This is my problem. I have several music videos downloaded to Kazaa. I wanted to put them on a CD. I have NTI CD-Maker 2000 Professional for my software. When I click video cd and drag down the videos I press begin test and writing. It acts like it is writing, The red light on my writer appears on and when it is done it says it wrote successfully, but when I try play it nothing happens. I browse it but the cd is empty. Any suggestions?

Try to use "Nero Burning Rom", can be downloaded from "www.ahead.de" you can burn CD's compatible with VCD or SVCD standart so can be played both in vcd-players for TVs and also from computers. But sure that your CD-Writer has no errors like wrong cabling, electrical errors, defected board, or dirty lens etc. Also the files must be compatible for the VCD standarts (if you plan to play them on a vcd-player system)

320x240 1150kbit/s 29.7 frames/s for NTSC Video
352x288 1150kbit/s 25.0 frames/s for PAL Video

44100 Hz and 224/192 Kbit/s for Audio

these'r the standarts for the systems.Just plan where you'll play those CDs, may be you can send me some video-clips :))

Unless you have a particular need to use the CDA format, you don't need to.
When a WAV file is written to a CD, it is automatically converted to a CDA
file. Converting MP3 to WAV can be done with many of the converters in the
software section.

Such software doesn't exist. A MOD file is made up of samples of the instruments
and sequence data which tells the MOD player when to play and which sample to use.
There is no way you can extract this information from a CD track.

Muzica Wizard Pattern Software - Need New Copy of Disk Please

I purchased a legitimate copy of "Muzical Wizard" software about 2 years ago. It came on a floppy disk with manuals. I've recently purchased a new computer and found out my floppy is no longer readable. I tried getting in touch with the company that made the software, but I believe they are out of business. Does anyone have a copy I could get from them? I'd be happy to pay for it. I do own this copy legally and have the receipt to prove it. Thanks for your help

splicing wavs together

While using Easy Cd Creater's Spin Dr. to convert from cassette to cd, the program split some of the tracks in half. Is there a program (preferably shareware or freeware) that will splice them back together? I've just started experimenting with Acoustica but haven't figured out if it will do it or not.
