STANDARD 128 MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE COMMANDS

I've been noticing in the manuals for my midi gear that they all mention being able to do this or that using the standard 128 Program Change commands through MIDI. I use cakewalk to sequence, and I can't find any thing about Program Change commands in the help files. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure this out. Is there a particular controller # used for Program Change commands or dose it work some other way?

Thanks

I want those .mid to sound like my SB16

Hi, I always wanted to save on my hard drive all those good music from Dune2, Warcraft and other old games. The .Mid file are easely found on the net. But my problem is that those .mid file, played with midi player (included wingroove) don't sound like when I play the game (I have a good old SB16)(ISA). I'm seaching a way to make those .mid sound like how they are in the game. (i'm searching the midi instrument who sound exactly like a sb16 does) Where do I find this? How do I use those instrument when I've found them ?
Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks a lot. :)

Joining WAV files

How do I join 2 wav files in VB?

Re: Joining WAV files

I don't know Visual Basic, but there is a program called WavGlue that can join wave files. There is also a program called WaveAdder or something like that, which does it a little bit better (less bugs). Still, you could always save your audio as a RAW PCM file and just append them together using standard DOS commands. I'm sure Visual Basic has a way to call DOS (environment) commands. C(+(+)) does.

bye.
