I am interested to know where I can get the software for converting my AUDIO CASSETTES to CD.

What is the hardware required other than a CD writer which I possess.

super mp3 recorder is a very nice audio utility u can use. It has all the power a good audio editing software can provide.

Check out the file area under recording. There will be something there to allow you to record the audio input on your computer. All you do then is plug the output of your cassette machine into the audio input on your computer and record it all to a file. Burn the file as an audio CD (probably with the burning software you got with the CD burner) and your done..

Checkout 'Acoustic MP3 to wave converter Plus'..though its called "mp3 to wave" but it also converts wave sounds (audio tracks on CDs) to Mp3 format it also allow you to select the quality of the file produced.

Can't be done unfortunately. There are programs that you can download from this site (under Karaoke I think) but I wouldn't expect much success. It's just too complicated.

Windows XP actually has some cd burner capabilities built in to it provided by Roxio. For instance you can drag files to your cd drive to copy to a CD or you can download an upgrade to Media Player from Microsoft to rip mp3's to cd. All without having to install 3rd party software.

well me and my friends use nero burner cuz ez creator didnt work with xp...but nero is nice promis it will work k

I don't think you can upgrade version 4 to version 5. Check out www.roxio.com for more info.

There is are two programs that can do the job: one is called CDG2VCD on:

that converts mp3+G files directly to MPG fies in single and batchmode. it costs $25.00
There is anotherone called power CDG to MPG on:
www.powerkaraoke.com and costs $29.00.
I'm using CDG2VCD which works fine.
They also have a trialversion, which are limited to single file processing.
Check it out.

win XP-portable mp3 player not working!

I have jaz piper portable mp3 player.. Its software refuses to work under win XP which I recently installed..The pages I have tried to reach for any possible updated drivers are no more accessible..Can any one help? If there are no jaz piper drivers available for XP(which is quite possible, piper is not a very popular player..)is there any other software that may help me to "connect" the device to my PC and transfer files ? Thanks in advance..

Hi I have the same problem. Please can you send me the fix for XP? My player software is on an old w98 computer, and I want it on my xp pc.
