Drummer emulation jamming software

Hi, I am looking for a software which will imitate a live drummer playing a jam, using random styles, sequences etc. I know I can program styles/sequences in Band in a box and such programs, but I am looking for something a little more live and automatic, to suprise me :) Maybe playing some bars of this style and tempo and changing randomally, etc.

What is the software most clost to this one?

A/D = Analogue to Digital converter

Basically, this device takes an analogue waveform and converts it into a digital representation. Compact discs are digital reproductions of the original analogue source. If you have a sound card in your PC, then chances are it has an analogue to digital converter built in.

To use it, you simply feed in a suitable analogue signal (i.e. from an LP, audio cassette or microphone), set the sample rate (the higher the rate, the better the quality but the bigger the file size), and start recording.

I want a mixing program where you can load your mp3 files and remove layers, so for example it just plays the vocals or the beat so you can tataly redesign a song or something along those lines can anyone help me?

Serial port

My band does a little bit of recording in my basment on my pc. I was wondering if there was a program that would alow me to run my sound into the serial port, as opposed to going into my sound card?

Unlikely, since the data you're trying to record is analogue, so unless you put an outboard analogue-to-digital converter, there's no way the signal will be recognised. That's why you feed the signal into the sound card, where it passes through an A/D converter before being recorded.

Mixer and Emagic Logic

The mixer is for processing audio. The computer works with data (that represents audio)
I use my mixer basically for selecting record inputs, and setting headphone levels.
If you were hoping to automate Logic with the little knobs on the mixer you are out of luck unless it's an automated board, but even then, if it wasn't described in a manual It is going to be a pain to get to work.

wmdavi.dll problem can't fix it

I have the program easy computing music center alrady installed for a few weeks butt can't juse it because everytime there is this message that this wmdavi.dll file dus not excist.
I'm running on Windows XP is that a problem and how can I fix it??????

Oplossing WMDAVI.DLL

Ik ben niet zo bekend met nieuwsgroepen, maar hierbij toch bij de derde poging een oplossing:
Ik had hetzelfde probleem.
Music Center gaf de melding can find WMDAVI.DLL.
Het is als volgt op te lossen:
Plaats in de map waar het programma staat een tekstfile met de naam WMDAVI.DLL.
Deze file mag leeg zijn (wat erin staat is niet belangrijk).
Het programma kan nu de DLL vinden, maar doet er niets mee, maar........... de melding is weg.
Veel succes.

I like Audio Compositor. It lets you use any sound font. and even edit them.

The best way is to pay the money for Roland sound canvas. But another way is to somehow get a free program sequencer called Cubasis Inwired, then mixdown your midi file to wav, but it only works with VST instruments. I think its possible to get free VST instruments, so you could have wavs from midis for free, but they will only sound like the VST instruments you have.

Full duplex record/playback?

Here is the way how to convert it. First, you have to download real one player. In player you have to click on Burn CD. Player will download little plug-in called Easy CD creator basic. Configure plug-in to burn audio to mp3. Then put .rmj files into browser and your CD will be full of converted .mp3. Hope you'll manage it. P.S.: I tried with Total recorder but I didn't find the way to do it because it's unable to open .rmj file format.

buffer underun

I have recently purchased a computer with a Mitsumi CR4802TE Cd Rom/Rewriter. I have checked the properties of this drive and there is no buffer underun enabled.
I have tried to burn audio CD's using Nero but to no avail. I have tried to change the read and write speeds but it does not seem to make any difference. Am I wasting my time or is there any way around this without having to purchace a new CD rewriter?
As soon as the read capacity is at 100% the disc is ejected and error messages appear. One of them refers to buffer underun.
Please help before it goes through the window.
