The ultimate 96 kHz bass recording

I never knew that it was possible to achieve such a high recording quality using a 96 kHz soundcard. Check out www.q-tuner.com and download the bass solo. Absolutely fantastic.

AOPEN 2440 medium speed error

I have installed an AOpen CRW 2440 writer, and intially it wrote a few CD's on BenQ CDR's and a TDK CDRW, but not on Verbatim's, giving the error "cannot perform fixation". I installed the latest firmware (2.08) and it then worked about 3 times on the Verbatims, but now it won't work on anything, giving the error "medium speed error". It writes nothing to the CDR's at all (i.e. they are not partially written to). I'm using Nero 5.5.9.17 and Windows XP Professional.

Can anyone help?

I have the same problem. But there is a solution.
Methode 1: Download all Versions of the firmware
Some Disks can only be burnt with a special Firmware
(2.0 burns it, 2.4 medium speed error...)
Thats my experience with this problem.

Method 2: Format your harddisk Reinstall everything.
Then you will have a period of time till this problem appears again.

making a cd from "donna the buffalo"

I am new to the recording stuff on the computer, so don't abolish me just yet. I was on the donna the buffalo site, and they have mp'3's that you can listen to. My question is, can i make a cd to listen to, from these assorted songs? If someone can give me an answer, and the step by step instructions, i would apprectiate it.

I had a .dll under Win98 wich showed me audio files (.cda in explorer), on audio cds, as Pc audio files (.wav).
Is this software or dll still current in WinXP?

mp3 editor that detects spaces

I am interested in an mp3 editor (shareware or freeware) that will automatically detect silent spaces in a large mp3 file (191Mb) that was made from a 3-hour tape. I would like the program to break the large file into separate files at those silent points and then allow me to come back and name the files and create the tags. I have gone through the list of editors posted on the download pages, but was not sure if which ones could automate the detection and breaks.

I,m from turkey.I like the arabic music and i love some singers from arabia.But the best singer is stil IBO Ibrahi´m Tatlises from Turkey.
I like to know abuut the String sounds from your demo strings bacground!
Are they just sampled loops or are they realy playable sounds from the KB?
I heave many sample sounds that i made and from my friends who maked the samples in studios in Turkey.

Saving old tapes to hard drive for Recording to CD's

I have been trying to transfer music on audio tapes to hard-drive and then record them on to a CD,to no avail. I hane an HP Laptop with Mic-in port,windows 98, plenty of space on HD, Tape player with ear phone outlet, musicmatch jutebox plus and real-one player software. Ihave a sony CRX2100u CDwriter and B"S gold software.I have trouble geting the audio music onto the hard-drive. Once there The rest works good. Any help would be appreciated.

I Have a son who will be three in January. He is a huge Bow Wow fan. He knows every song he sings them all the time. He acts like he is Bow Wow and everything. He dances like Him its amazing how he loves Him soooo much. I wish that one day he will get to meet Him. I think that Bow Wow would get a kick out of seeing Him ans seeing how much this little toddler is in love with everthing that has to do with Him. It all began with Like Mike he knows that movie from start to finish even the characters names. I just pray that some way some how His wish could come true. God Bless

"You Can Do Magic" new disco cover version of the great hit of the group "America": there's this new song ft/lil jon and the beat is SO tight, pretty sure its used with a synthsizer and ive called radio stations try'n to find out it's title but so far they've give'n me the wrong one and it's driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx
