Music Software Program

I am combining songs from my CDs with online downloads and am interested in an inexpensive program which would allow me to equilize track volumes and fade in or fade out longwinded intros or endings. I would prefer a program that lets me hear what I'm doing. Is there something akin to Photoshop Elements for music editing?

WaveOut Problems-Help!

My Musicmatch player won't play and the message "WaveOut format not supported" pops up. What can I do to fix this? I have already tried re-installing MusicMatch! Help, please!

I figured it out for myself. Go to control panel and click add new hardware, click i have added device, then in the scroll down menu go to the very bottom and find add new hardware device, then find your audio codec and proceed on. Then try your sound. Works with Xp.

I have a shareware version of Sonar, but since it was a beta version, it has now expired. My friend told me you can change the system time on your computer to have the program run, yet how does one do that???

Music Editing

I am consolidating the best songs on my CD's with online purchases and would like an inexpensive Windows-compatible program which would allow me to adust sound levels and permit fade-out of long-winded song intros or endings. I would prefer a program that lets me hear the effects as I apply them.
I only care about audio capability re CD' though would buy a combined photo or DVD program if that's all that's available.
Any suggestions?

I'm 70 years old and I understood I could get music downloads from your site when I joined. my membership will be up before I get any music. I like the old music how do I find it? When I wrote before someone emailed me they couldn't understand me. I can't stay a member if I don't get help now can I? Do you have karaoke music too? I need some lyrics for some old songs do I have to pay extra? i understood I would get 150 songs a month and I haven't got none. When I try to go to your sites listed I get error messages. and say They can't load the page. Please help me.. Elaine Chaffin

We don't sell music downloads on any Hitsquad site, nor have we ever sold music on this site. As for 150 songs per month, if you can show me where it says that on this site I'd be happy to look into it.

Who emailed you, saying they couldn't understand you? I'd like to get to the bottom of that issue as well.

need articles on how to teach a children's choir

anyone out there? i need some help. actually, it's my sister who needs help. she wants to volunteer as a children's choir teacher in my nephews' school but she has no experience on teaching kids. she has a background on teaching music and voice and she started a church choir some 6 years ago but she stopped training the choir though because she moved with her familyi another state. there might be some little dynamics she needs to know since she'll be teaching kids this time. i hope someone out there can help me find articles for her. maybe you can? :-)

cheap midi programs that sound realistic

As with anything, you get what you pay for. Cheap software = cheap sounds. Expensive software = good sounds. I currently run Reason 2.5, which has some excellent drum sounds, but it wasn't cheap.

Hi !
I have Cubasis VST 4.0, Tascam US-122 and a Roland GS midi-keyboard.
Can anyone tell me how to record audio files from the midimusic.
I have got some advices about muting all the audio tracks, and record the midi music to a new audiotrack. But I can't understand how i can get the system to find the midimusic. When I set up an audio track, the VST mixer will record the sound from Input L and R on the Tascam US-122, and I can't find any other choices on the setup.
I would very much apreciate som help here.

How to configure sound from cd drive

I'm using two cd drives (cd-rom + dvd RW).The cd rom drive is connected to the system board audio socket.
Can I listen to cds if I play directly from the DVD drive which is not connected by audio cable to the system board?
Someone told me I don't need a dual drive audio cable but instead can play thru the software.
I tried using Musicmatch but no sound. Is there any settings to varify?

The sound from CD-ROM/DVD drives is only fed through the audio connector - if that isn't connected then you won't hear a thing from it (except through the headphone socket if it has one). If you want to play both drives through the PC, you'll need a 2-to-1 audio cable (one of these http://www.cableo.com/computer_cable_details.cfm?sku=336208&cats=99104&catid=637%20%2C637%2C%2C621)
