shut up guy

Re: Saving Real Audio Streams...

#1: RIGHT CLICK on the link to the "ram" file. Save this to your desktop (easiest place).

#2: RIGHT CLICK on the "ram" file, and select "open with..." then "Notepad" (make sure you don't open these every time with NP!

#3: All this file contains is a link. Copy the text of this link.

#4: Make a new web page with an editor, and have this link be a target URL in your HTML page (Use some text so you know what it's for)

#5: Save HTML, open this page to your web browser, and RIGHT CLICK on the link you made. Select "Save Target As..."

#6: Happy saving.

Streambox VCR
X-Fileget are two great programs that do the job perfectly.

egold $3

Go to:

: Actually, I heard X-fileget turned into Streambox VCR, and Streambox lost a lawsuit with Real Audio and no longer records audio streams. Are these older versions that you have?

Midi to Wave?

What is a good program to use when recording midi files to wave? The one that comes with SBAWE64 is no good...

i use soundforge 4.0. all you do is set up a file to record and set the recirding level in the creative mixer (in the soundblaster software) for midi to whatever you want and make sure it isn't muted. the wave editor you got with sb64 may do this too, just check ya levels and channels are right in the creative mixer.
hope this helps

Sheet Music

I understand there is computer software you can buy that will convert either your CD or your voice into sheet music. Does anyone know the name of this software or where I might can get some information on it?

I agree there should be some. I am investigating the same. If I find anything I will inform you. Would you mind doing the same?

Unable to save recordings in cakewalk 6

Every time I try to record something in cakewalk 6,
I get the message:
"unable to save entire recording. The audio disk may be full"
Does anybody have any idea how to solve this?
There's enough space on my harddisk, so that cannot be the problem.
