converting RA to WAVE

how do I convert RA to wave format

How do I convert my Windows ME media player files to mp3 files?

Re: How do I convert my Windows ME media player files to mp3 fil

Question: I need to know if there is a free site out there that will show me how to change my Windows Media files back to MP3 files?

Re: converting RA to WAVE Files

Does anybody knows how to convert Real Audio files to Wave or Mp3 format. I would like to burn these songs to a CD. Of course, these songs are from an Asian country. Thanks for any suggestion.

Internal Input of Softsynths to Editor

I'm running a G3 w/8.5.1 and 128MB of RAM; using Sound
Manager. I'm getting a junky white noise input to any
editor or effects device from any internal software synth.
Does anyone know why this is a problem? Any tips would
be appreciated. Thanks!

mp3 to CD format needed

pleeeeeeez tell me how can I record a CD with converted mp3'z to play it on a regular CD player?????

Can anyone tell me (if any) audio/music software programs can in

I am putting most of my analog/digital studio into our studio and would like to focus on Software programs (base, drum, soundsource, digital audio mach.'s)that can interface with each other with only using my computer and master controller keyboard. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE PROGRAMS THAT ARE CAPABLE?

Schlaut:)

Sure, Try this

Any program that is midi compliant can interface with any other using virtual midi ports. Try Hubbi's Loop Back. This will give you as many virtual inputs and outputs as you need. Kind of like a network router but in software. Just set a port as an output in one proggie and then the same port as input in another and hey presto they will sync. I use in my studio all linked together.
Cakewalk PA 8
Rebirth 2.0
XG-EDIT
Generator
Rubberduck 2.0
and Sonic foundary ACID.
but I do have a RAM loaded system and 2 soundcards. It all really depends on how fast pootah is. If its a bit lame then some proggies will struggle and lose sync.

Stephen,

every Sequencer program I have seen up to now can
be used for what you are achieving. Look for
a "piano roll" (or similar named) editor in several
sequencer progams. Usually you have the option to
"draw" or set notes with your mouse. How to do
that in a specific application should be explained
in its help file or documentation.
Nevertheless, it's a slow way for entering music.

I suggest Cubase light, which should be available
somwhere on this server.

Greetings, Harald

How can I record and edit music

Hi, I want to record songs from my CD to my computer and then edit the record song. I like to edit tracks to change settings, add or remove tracks, etc.
I have a PC running W98, how can i do it?.
Sorry for my english and thanks to all.

would you buy aac software package??

hi there.
you might find my questions a bit strange, but please take it serious anyway.
if you could buy a complete aac package (encoder + decoder + winamp plugin) in high quality, fully legal with registration and all, how much would you think you would be willing to pay for it?
$20? $30? or $40 or even more?
im talking about pro aac quality, like the liquifier stuff (http://cad-audio.fsn.net for comparisons and more info)
bye km

Re: would you buy aac software package??

I think that the program would be good if you could use it and there could be ads displayed to pay for it. if you were to charge for it you would find that most people would put up with mp3 sound quality

CD tracks with song titles

My car stereo displays text (song title and stuff like that)while songs are playing on certain cds (Sony). I have a cd-rw and would like to make my own music cds and include song titles on them. Anyone know how to do that. I thought there would be a .txt file or something like that on the cd but I can't find one. All I see are the audio tracks.
Thanks,
Scott

John,

it simply isn't possible!
Listen to it and record it yourself - that's the
only possibility!
