it does the same 2 me and people are teling me that it is the disc not the cd burner

Well first of all your a jack ass. You can not burn C.Ds off of a Yamaha piece of shit. I reccomend the XCT12024 Super calibrated bass boost 9000 from my ass.
You stick anything up in that sombitch and it'll burn that sucker in .009 seconds flat~:)

I don't know if you are experiencing the same problem or not, but I have noticed that CD-R's won't always work well on older CD players. I believe it's because the organic material used in CD-R's does not change its reflectivity as much as mass produced CD's. It seems to vary with the CD-R manufacturer, but I never have trouble on newer players.

I want to burn my music (wave and midi files) on to a CD.

writer and have recorded lots of songs that I want to
show to people by putting them on cd. I have Wave and
MIDI files in my songs. Please if you know how,
tell me the steps that I need to go through to
get my songs on cd. I thought maybe converting them to
another format but how would I put them back together?
Please list recomended software by name.

hi!
first of all, u should have a CD burner.
then convert your mid or wave file into .cdr which can be read
by your CD player.
for midi file, if u get cakeWalk , it's easy.
Just import your sound into CakeWalk and choose MIXDOWN AUDIO, later
choose EXPORT AUDIO and choose export as WAVE.

Now u get all wave file ready. Next step is using a CD writing program
to burn CD for u. Many of them will automactically convert your .wav
into .cdr. Just click the option that u want to make audio CD.Here i
suggest program EASY CD CREATOR.

: well try going to a website such as Kazaa or Morpheus, these are programs that u can use to download songs onto ur hard drive and from that point u can transfer the files onto a cd using Easy CD creator, if ur computer has a cd burner that is. it is pretty much self explanatory from there.. its user friendly!
