If you upgrade, alot of this stuff doesn't work right. I had massive problems with all my midi software, especially the hardware stuff when I went to XP. The Bad News, this might not work for you (reformating) but if you have the time, I suggest you try otherwise ... well, I'm typing this message on a computer running WinME. : Good Luck! : : I desperatley need help, ive just updated my windows me Hi, I had the same problem . But there's something that you can try. According to Steinberg, there is a DLL named MROS432.DLL (in WINDOWS\SYSTEM32) that was installed by your previous 16 bit windows version (95,98, Me) and that is not compatible with Windows XP 32 bit system. A solution is to delete this DLL, then reinstall Cubase. This is an official solution given by Dave Nicholson (Steinberg Multimedia AG) and found on Steinberg Web site. Hope it works for you !
