In Reply to: copying old vinyl records to CD posted by JOHN on February 26, 2002 at 08:35:47: Record player outputs and sound/audio card inputs don't match. Either get a 'Phono to Line' conditioner or simple plug the record player into a Phono input on you amp and then take a tape record output and connect that to you computer. Impedance mismatches can damage equipment so be careful.. Ask before you experiment... Cya SteveR
