Need help with audio input. Posted by Spiker (from: 172.143.44.34) on February 26, 2002 at 20:24:35: My computer (HP 7935) has a microphone jack i the sound card but I see no "line in". When I try to record from my walkman the sound does record but it is terrible (the walkman works fine). Is this because I am using the mic jack? Sinced I dont have a line input what should I do? I am using "Audacity" (free audio editor newly installed)and my settings are for stereo recording at 44K (default). Can anyone help?
