It will make it's own chord progressions, and has may styles to choose from, but it can't hear what you are singing. If you want you can change every last detail of the song, or let it do almost all the work. I have found it to be a great program for musicians with writers block. Gecko : Could you please tell me if there is any software that will provide a background accompaniment to my vocals. I want to sing my lyrics and find some software that will add an appropriate auto-accompaniment. By auto-accompaniment I mean an accompaniment that will note the pitch changes to my lyrics when they are sung and automatically produce an accompaniment to them. It would be nice if I could add or delete instruments if I wish, to alter the sound a little and state the kind of backing accompaniment that I would prefer e.g. Country, Pop etc...
