In Reply to: fruity loops for hiphop/rap beats posted by cw on May 28, 2000 at 19:08:28: imageline has a sample cd which contains various flps and samples from a variety of genres(such as hiphop bigbeeat house etc...) I am sure they have some other cd that may be of this genre or another. Also since hiphop should be the same (sorta) as it was some years back you could probably check out other softwares and communities that house hiphop peoples. If all else fails you can just like think up a beat in your head and throw it down...? Why not just listen to your favorite hiphop track then plot some drums to where they are get some samples.. the more you try the better you will get at it, I can understand your question though. If you have the money I suggest getting the sample cd by imageline/fruityloops.(it should be available thorugh the site.)
