In Reply to: A nice alternative to cassettes and CDs and files... posted by Macintorch (the artist formerly known as THE LOGICAL GUY) on May 31, 2002 at 11:05:24: There was a A/D convertor being sold during the late eighties that would use a VCR (might have only been a Beta cassette though) as a two track digital mastering machine. I used one in a studio in London around that time and it was as good as anything available at the time. Big tape, Digital... nice.. Might be worth a look out for one. I doubt it will cost a lot although it should be tough to find. If I remember the name of it, I will let you know.. Regards SteveR
