Try running a separate recording program as you play your rm files. Sometimes this is all one needs to do to convert them. It depends on how your sound drivers are set up, but sometimes they are set up just fine and work without any special extra conversion programs. If you need more routing options, you could download "Virtual Audio Cable" from this site. It allows you to route any playable (ASIO or DirectSound) audio from one program to another. Most programs that let you hear anything have to go through ASIO or DirectSound to get to the speakers or outputs (on a PC), so that's how it works. IF you are on a Mac, them I'm afraid I cannot recommend a solution. I don't know of a system similar to VAC on a mac yet. Although the freeware program Beaver can save streaming MP3 (M3U) files directly to disk. If the files are also being served in MP3 format, then there you do. By the way, I've read that Real Media, Real Audio, and Real Networks software and servers are very insecure and pose a security risk to all of their users and customers. I recall that they also participate in Spyware, which is also bad news to users who want to maintain their internet privacy as much as possible. I could be wrong, but it's your responsibility to find out the truth now that I've told you what I suspect. The Truth Is Out There.
