MIDI to USB Converter

i was wondering if there is such a thing as a MIDI to USB Converter. it would help our music theory class emensly and when i say this i mean a midi keyboard---->midi wire--->USB----> Computer. please help our class out by supplying us wiht some information thank you very much.

I am also jsut trying to do some music for my class. I have this Yamaha Keyboard and I found some adapter from MIDI to USB converter in the (Yamahamusicsoft.com). If your keyboard are KOrg, Roland or other, you might want to check their websites and ask your local music store. Below are some of the two converters for Yahama. I hope this information help you.
