Also, it would make it easier if all files were in .ZIP format. This is already a universal format, and it has been improved continually. Even on a mac, .ZIP files are smaller than .SIT files. This is outside of our control - the software authors are the only people who decide which compression method they want used for their downloads. Jason Horton.
