You probably need two types. One to record the audio input on your computer (after plugging the output of the cassette deck into it of course) and one to burn the CD. When I bought a CD burner, I got burning software with it which is Toast for MacOSX. I would have thought you would have got some also. Check in this sites file download section. There is a ton of stuff in there for recording audio inputs on your computer.
