What you consider decent quality is more than likely different to what I would consider decent quality. How can someone assess what might sound 'decent' when all the information you give on your recording chain is "Cheap Mic"? Get yourself a decent small or large diaphragm condensor mic, something like a FMR RNP, a VTB1 or even an M-Audio Audiobuddy, some decent cables, learn a good acoustic guitar mic'ing technique, get a decent audio card and then you'll have a decent chance.
